New 517bhp R8 flagship

Audi has confirmed the UK introduction next year of a V10 powered road-going version of the R8 LMS.
Costing £99,575 on-the-road with a six speed manual gearbox and £104,665 with R tronic sequential shift transmission, the 525bhp R8 will incorporate a 5.2 litre FSI V10 engine, mounted longitudinally behind the cockpit. The V10 RS8 will achieve 0-62mph in 3.9secs and a top speed of 196mph – making it the fastest production Audi ever.
The R8 V10 looks similar to the V8, but the new top model gets unique 19ins alloy wheels and some subtle body modifications. These include high-gloss front grille and front air intakes, more pronounced side sills, wider side cooling vents, high gloss rear air outlets, oval tailpipes and a new rear diffuser.
A top ender for car leasing.

Of course its main appeal is its practicality

If you’re earning £120,000 a week for kicking a ball or for crippling the banks by short-selling shares in the City then here’s the car for you. A mere £96,295 buys you the catchily named Audi Q7 V12 TDI – the madcap SUV to beat all SUVs. Or put it another way – a 6 litre 500bhp supertanker that gets from 0 – 60 in 5.5 seconds. Top of your car leasing list eh?
Only one thing to say. WHY?

A new self-parking Audi Madam?

It wouldn’t do to make any connection whatsoever between the fact that the Audi A3 cabriolet has been voted ‘Car of the Year’ by a women’s web site and the fact that it offers a self parking feature. But both of these facts are, well, facts.
The new Parallel Park Assist feature adds around £700 but then all you need do is cruise the streets at less than 19mph and the car will search out its own space based on its own size. You pull up, engage reverse and touch the accelerator and the car takes over, steering itself into the space in one manoeuvre. Of course you do have to apply the brake when the car buzzes you but otherwise it does it for you. Just the job for car leasing.
