Gatso Gotcha
As from April this year any number plates which have been ‘modified’ to evade speed cameras will fail the MoT test. The test already requires plates to be properly legible, with recognisable and properly formed characters. Now, if you have applied a liquid or film which prevents traffic enforcement camera from ‘reading’ your plate, you will not be able to gain MoT certification.
Of course car leasing will mean your vehicle may never get to be old enough to need a MoT test.
