Peugeot Diesel Breaks Fuel Economy Record

Peugeot leasing could be one of the smartest options available, when it comes to economy.
A Peugeot 308 HDi 110, fitted with Michelin energy saving tyres, set two new world records last month on a 9000 mile journey around the Australian coast.
During the 25 day journey, the car achieved a distance of 1192 miles on only 60 litres of fuel – averaging a fuel consumption of 90.75 miles per gallon.
Fuel consumption is a very significant factor to consider when choosing a lease car, with today’s rocketing fuel prices.
