A Toronto baby has been born in the front seat of a Lexus lease car!
Renee Thorpe initially went to the hospital, but was advised to go home as her cervix was not yet dilated far enough to meet hospital admission requirements.
However, just 20 minutes later, whilst driving back home, Renee began giving birth in the moving Lexus. Father Renaldo Scully had to pull over and catch the baby with one hand, whilst being guided on his mobile with the other!
The proud couple gave their new daughter a special middle name in honour of the trouble-free Lexus birth, naming her Rihanna 'Alexis' Scully. Good job it wasn't something like a BMW, it wouldn't quite have worked as nicely...
So, there's the proof - if you're thinking of car-leasing with a view to giving birth to a child in the front seat (and who isn't?), then Lexus looks like a safe bet!
