The Subaru Impreza WRX STI R205 builds on last year’s Spec C model and has been developed following Subaru’s participation in the Nurburgring 24 Hours.

Powering all four wheels is a 316bhp, 318lb ft 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine. Power has been increased by retuning the ECU and adding a new sports exhaust system. It uses a six-speed manual gearbox.

Solberg’s New Subaru Excitement

Norwegian rally star, Petter Solberg, is hoping to do his bit to boost the profile of Subaru leasing when he takes their newest rally offering out in the Rally of Turkey this weekend.
It will be only his second outing in the new Subaru Impreza WRC2008, and Petter says he is ‘very excited’ about the prospect.
He’s probably hoping to be ‘Petter’ than all the rest (ooh, sorry about that one).
