Test an Alfa and win a racing set!
Not sure it is such a good promotional idea for Alfa Romeo to offer the chance to win a special ‘Quantum of Solace’ scalextric set to those who test drive the special edition Alfa 159. Isn’t that an Aston Martin featuring most prominently on the box? Oh yes, there’s the Alfa, in the background.
Nevertheless that’s the deal – test out the £22,168 stylish and grown-up159 and yes, you could win a child’s model race track worth at least £70. Enticing eh?
The Limited Edition 159 (limited to however many are ordered presumably) comes with £3000 of gadgets – lowered suspension, red Brembo brake callipers, sports dials, black leather upholstery, Carbonio black metallic paint , darkened 19” spoke alloy wheels and it speaks to you if you call it Kit. Strike out the reference to ‘grown-up’ above.
It maybe isn’t as fast as it looks (0-62mph in 9.2secs from a 150bhp engine) but it is very pretty and has the magic badge. A sporty model for the car leasing market.
