A Whole New Meaning to 'Search Engine'

X6_BMW_lease.jpg

The new BMW X6, recently touted at the Geneva Motor Show, boasts the first fully unrestricted in-car internet access, using the BMW ConnectedDrive system.

In 'technological advancement' terms - well done BMW.

In 'getting rear-ended by a Facebooking moron' terms - happy days ahead for neck brace sales!

We've been through the whole mobile phone use palaver; there's still much questioning over the level of driver distraction caused by sat nav; now we're into the dubious scenario of X6 drivers Googling their way up the M6.

The window of legality could be brief, so if you fancy a spot of novelty internet-ready BMW leasing you may have to act sharply. It could soon be one of those "I remember when it was legal to..." discussions - the sort that you hear when you walk past a bunch of soggy smokers outside any UK pub.
